Vesper Named A CES 2019 Innovation Awards Honoree for Second Consecutive Year

For the second year in a row, Vesper was named a CES 2019 Innovation Honoree by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA). CTA announced the honorees during the annual CES Unveiled New York event and at CES. Vesper was recognized in the embedded technology category for its VM2020 piezoelectric MEMS microphone.

The annual CES Innovation Awards is a competition honoring outstanding design and engineering in consumer technology products. Honorees across 28 product categories were selected based on a product or technology that scored above the threshold for their category. Vesper’s product category, embedded technologies, highlighted products such as silicon chips and integrated components designed to provide functionality to finished products or subassemblies.

The elite judging panel consisted of an independent industrial designer, an independent engineer, and a member of the trade press for each category. Innovation Honorees were judged on their design, functionality, consumer appeal, engineering, and competitor comparison of their product. The honorees were featured in the Innovation Awards Showcase at CES 2019.
